Role Overview

We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and confident Graduate Business Development Assistant to join our team at our facility in Aberdeen, Scotland.

The purpose of this role is to efficiently assist the growth of the Group’s business development, including sales, marketing, services and products.

This role will suit a proactive self-starter with strong communication skills and a creative flair, who is not afraid to bring new ideas to the table!


Duties / Responsibilities

  • To accelerate the company’s exposure portfolio’s in existing and new business streams
  • To support the penetration of the company into diverse industries, markets and new applications
  • To assist with the implementation of sales and marketing strategies and long term business development plans
  • To act as the focal point for communication between JCE and international partners
  • To assist with the increase in sales volume through new leads and existing contacts
  • Be part of the team intent on the growth of the company’s
  • To aid in the effective marketing of the company’s via the correct mediums, including creating and implementing local and digital marketing campaigns, Search Engine Optimisation and content creation.
  • To help maintain the company’s websites ensuring they are live and current
  • Work with the appointed person to maintain and update the CRM system to maintain a consistent and manageable database
  • Attend digital and in-person networking events and conferences
  • Any other areas deemed necessary by the Directors as and when they become applicable


Key Skills / Requirements

  • Recent graduate or experience in professional services or corporate environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Outlook
  • Understanding of social platforms including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to multi task and work on own initiative
  • Strong work ethic
  • Enthusiastic and pro-active
  • Previous industry experience is desired but not essential


Salary: £Competitive

Contract Type: Permanent (Monday to Friday)

Quality Control Inspector

JCE (Europe) Ltd is a market leader in the design, manufacture and supply of Ex electrical components and ATEX compliant equipment for use in hazardous areas, both nationally and internationally. We have an exciting new Quality Control Inspector position in our busy Plymouth based production team.

The Job:
  • Ensure that quality standards are maintained throughout all stages of production
  • Reporting directly to Workshop Supervisor
  • Full training will be provided
  • Experience gained within a quality / inspection background
  • Computer literate
  • Excellent communication skills
Desired Characteristics:
  • Knowledge of basic engineering principles
  • Quality control qualifications

Salary: £Competitive

Contract Type: Permanent, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
