JCE host Hybrid Powered BBQ

It’s been a busy month for the JCE team with a successful SPE Offshore Europe 2019 and our Hybrid powered BBQ taking place at our premises, just five minutes away from the newly completed P&J Live TECA complex.

The team at JCE have had an incredibly busy few weeks with SPE Offshore Europe 2019 taking place on our doorstep and hosting our successful Hybrid Powered BBQ.

We would like to thank everyone who took time out to come visit and we hope you enjoyed your afternoon, burger and our newly completed Modular Hybrid Power Pod which was on display. Our BBQ was the perfect opportunity to unveil our new Modular Hybrid Power Pod, which utilises a combination of wind and solar power to supply a battery package through its standard controller and distribution system.

The hybrid system was used to power all of our appliances and demonstration units around our site, indicating its load management capabilities which are directed by its integrated control system. The Hybrid Pod was the source of power for all applications at the BBQ as well as a number of demonstration products on show.

The Modular Hybrid Power Pod is suitable for use in non-hazardous or Zone 1/Zone 2 hazardous areas and is an ATEX compliant system, made up of interconnected skids and configured to project power requirements & specific applications. It is safe area and ATEX rated for non-hazardous and Zone 1/ Zone 2 hazardous areas.

The module is self-contained, lightweight and ready to be shipped – reducing costs and time involved with transportation. Its low maintenance and independent operation makes it the perfect solution for navigation aids, SCADA systems, alarm systems, gas detection, ESD controls and data recording.

Typical uses for the system include Navigation Aids, SCADA Systems, ESD Controls, Pipeline Management and Ship to Shore communications.
