Ex Solar Panel SPB Range

The SPB range of photovoltaic solar panels is ATEX and IECEx Ex eb mb certified for use in Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous areas. The panel cells are encapsulated between a tempered glass cover and an EVA potting compound, providing maximum protection in even the most extreme environmental conditions.

Typical applications for this innovative, energy and cost saving solution include monitoring remote pipelines and unmanned offshore oil and gas installations, where location and proximity to hazardous areas make conventional or mains power sources less economical.

The SPB range can be integrated with other JCE products, including Ex e certified battery systems and Ex d control enclosures, to provide a complete, self contained power and monitoring solution.

When used in conjunction with a suitably rated inverter installed within an Ex ec enclosure, the system can also support AC power applications.
