Subsea Lightpath Power Unit

This subsea lighting system has been developed to provide illumination of a dive umbilical from the diver end. It may be used as a stand-alone unit, but more commonly operates in addition to umbilical illumination from the diving bell.

The compact design allows the unit to be attached directly to the umbilical, ensuring the diver is not encumbered with additional equipment.

The system is suitable for use in both saturation diving and surface air diving applications.

The Subsea Lightpath Power Unit is a non-electrical fibre optic guidance and route lighting system for:

  • Inshore / civil diving
  • Diver training facilities

Optical Window Sapphire Glass
Electrical Connector Subsea rated connector body, nickel plated brass with elastomer seals
Optical Coupling Interface Fibre quick connect interface with polymer locking components
External Seals Elastomer O-rings suitable for subsea service
Finish Natural stainless steel finish as standard
Frame 316L stainless steel
