Zone 2 Solar Power System

JCE partnered with Frames to successfully complete the design and manufacture of four solar powered chemical injection systems for a production facility in Kuwait. The chemical injection systems are designed to prevent hydrate formation during the winter period.

We were responsible for the complete Solar Power Package, comprising of SPA-280 Solar Panels, Solar Controller/Distribution Enclosures, Solar Combiner Enclosures, 1689Ah Battery Packs, 1408Ah Battery Packs and 100A 3ph Battery Isolator Panels. The mechanical design of the complete skid and the supply of the chemical injection package was Frames scope. The skids were transported to Kuwait, followed by start-up and commissioning by JCE and Frames on-site.

These systems have a wide range of potential applications, including, but not limited to navigational aids, alarm systems, valve monitoring and bird deterrent systems. They have the capacity to convert and provide power during periods of sunlight or limited UV, whilst demanding minimal maintenance and inspection, therefore offering cost effective solutions.
