LIGHTPATH Ex

‘LIGHTPATH Ex’ is an ATEX & IECEx certified fibre illumination system suitable for installation in Category 1 (Zone 0) areas, including Hydrogen (H₂ certified).

It projects a continuous line of light that carries no electrical power, making it completely safe for both users and the surrounding work environment.

This fibre lighting system consists of optical fibre, a patented Fibre Lighting Unit (FLU), and an explosion proof enclosure, which can be mains supplied, or mains supplied with a 4.5Ah (3-hour duration) battery back-up as standard.

It has been specifically designed to improve the safety of personnel working in low visibility or hazardous environments by effectively illuminating otherwise inaccessible areas.

‘LIGHTPATH Ex’ offers a low cost, continuous power lighting solution suitable for a wide range of applications across multiple sectors where there is a risk of fire and/or explosion.
